      Thanks for the question. I have two answers.

      1. Your iron may leak or drip if the temperature is set too low. Your iron needs to get hot enough to turn water into steam. Give your iron a few minutes to heat up before using it. Check your user manual and make sure that you’re using your iron at a temperature setting that is hot enough for the steam function.
      2. It can simply be the case that the thermostat isn’t set correctly and has been set to a temperature that is too low. The iron is spitting water that is running out of the soleplate. In fact, when the temperature is too low, the water doesn’t heat up enough and cannot be converted into steam.
